Return Policy

This return policy is applicable within 14 days of receiving a jewellery order from www.pngjewellers.com. The entire amount will be refunded to the customer’s account within 10–15 working days of receiving the returned product.

To initiate a return for any jewellery purchased from www.pngjewellers.com, raise the request from the Returns Page, My Order dashboard on our app, or email customerservice@pngadgil.com, or contact us on +1800 233 5005 & +91 9226532904.

The policy applies to jewellery only, unless specified otherwise.

Eligibility for Returns

Customers can request a 100% return within 14 days of receiving the jewellery order.

Returns can be initiated via:

Upon confirmation, the product can be returned at any P N Gadgil Jewellers Limited store across India.

Conditions for Return Approval

Return acceptance is subject to the following mandatory checks:

  • The product must pass Quality Assessment by our in-house Quality Assurance Team.
  • The item must be returned in its original condition, without signs of damage, tampering, wear, or alteration.
  • All original documents must be returned, including:
  • Original invoice
  • Product certificate(s)
  • Packaging, box, pouches, tags, etc.
  • Free items

Non-Returnable Categories

The 14-day return policy does not apply to the following:

  • Customised, engraved, personalised jewellery.
  • Products purchased under the Lifetime Exchange / Lifetime Buyback program.
  • Product purchased by exchanging Old Gold / Old Jewellery / Bullion.
  • Products earlier exchanged under the 14-day Exchange Policy.
  • Bullion, Coins, Chips, Vedhani, and Silver/Gold Articles – these are strictly non-returnable and non-cancellable once purchased. Please verify before purchase.
  • Products showing signs of usage, wear and tear, alteration, breakage, resizing, or tampering

In cases where a return is accepted but falls under any of the categories mentioned above, applicable deductions or adjustments shall be made in accordance with the company's prevailing policies.

Packaging & Pickup Guidelines

  • The customer must ensure safe and secure packaging during the return.
  • In case of receiving a defective/missing/wrong product, return shipping costs will be covered by the company, and a label will be generated. But the customers will have to provide an unboxing video to claim a return & refund for the defective/missing/wrong product.
  • If required, a secure pickup may be arranged through an authorised logistics partner.

In case of return pick-up:

  • The shipment must be sealed in tamper-proof packaging provided by the courier.
  • Pickup will only be attempted after verification by the customer service team.
  • Returned items that are damaged or lost in transit due to improper packaging will not be covered under the return policy.
  • Customer shall hand over the package within 3 days of label creation. In case this timeline is not followed, kindly connect with our customer service team.

Notes

  • For returns after 14 days, kindly check our Lifetime Buyback policy.
  • All returns are subjected to quality confirmation by our Quality Assurance Team and verification that the packaging is complete with all documents, like original invoice copy, verified product certificate, etc.
  • Any mismatch in product weight during returns, beyond permissible tolerance levels, will be adjusted as per store policies.
  • Return shipping is free for defective/wrong products. But customers will have to provide an unboxing video to claim a return & refund for defective/wrong product.

Refund Policy

On return approval and successful quality verification, the refund will be processed within 10–15 working days from receipt of the returned product.

Refund Method

  • Online payments (credit/debit card, net banking, UPI): Refund is processed via reversal of the original transaction. Bank timelines may vary.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) / Bank Transfer: Refund credited via NEFT/IMPS to the customer’s bank account. Bank timelines may vary.

Alternatively, you can choose to get the amount credited directly to your PNG Jewellers customer wallet.

Refund Amount

  • The refund amount will be 100% of the actual invoice amount paid, subject to quality check.
  • If any coupon, discount, or promo codes were used during the original purchase, the refund amount would be reduced by an amount equivalent to the coupon, discount, or promo codes, as applicable.
  • Any refund arising from a weight variation in Made-to-Order (MTO) products will be processed within 7–10 business days. In the event of an increase in product weight, the customer will be required to pay the applicable additional amount.
  • The weight difference tolerance for MTO products is typically ±0.01 milligrams, but may vary.
  • In case of receiving defective/missing/wrong Product, the customers will have to provide an unboxing video to claim a full refund for the defective/missing/wrong product.

Exchange Policy

At P N Gadgil Jewellers Limited, we strive to ensure an exceptional customer experience through transparent and customer-friendly exchange policies. The exchange process and value depend on the time of exchange and the product category.

Product Eligibility

  • Customised jewellery (personalised/engraved), pearls, and coral stone jewellery are not eligible for 14-day exchange but are eligible under Lifetime Exchange.
  • Products showing damage, alteration, tampering, cracks, breakage, or unauthorised repairs will not qualify for full-value exchange.
  • MTO (Made To Order) orders can be returned and refunded, but cannot be exchanged. And changes to MTO orders cannot be made after the order confirmation mail/message is sent to the customer.

Mandatory Documentation

The following must be submitted:

  • Original invoice
  • Original diamond certificate (where applicable)
  • Product packaging, certificates, and documents

An additional deduction applies if the original invoice is not provided.

Quality Verification

  • A basic quality check will be carried out at the store.
  • Products eligible for exchange will then undergo a final appraisal by the Quality Assurance Team.
  • The final exchange value is determined strictly after quality confirmation.

Value Difference Handling

  • If the new product value exceeds the exchange value, the customer must pay the difference. Additional payment for upgraded jewellery is subject to applicable GST at prevailing rates. Invoice will be issued accordingly.
  • If the exchange value exceeds the new purchase value:
  • For 14-day exchanges: the balance is refunded via the original payment method.
  • For Lifetime Exchange: the balance is retained as store credit for future purchases.

Processing Timelines

Exchange approval and processing may take 7–10 working days.

Notes

  • Exchange rates are calculated as per prevailing policies at the time of exchange and are subject to change.
  • Products can be exchanged for full value only once within 14 days. Subsequent exchanges fall under the Lifetime Exchange Policy.

Cancellation Policy

In case of any dissonance, P N Gadgil Jewellers Limited has the right to cancel any orders. A few reasons for cancellation from our end usually include, but are not limited to:

  • Limitation or unavailability of the product in the inventory.
  • Inadvertent error in pricing or promotional offers.
  • Incorrect or incomplete product information.
  • Logistical issues.
  • Suspected fraudulent transactions or verification failures.
  • No response from the customer with regard to order-related queries.

We also have the right to request additional details from the customer before accepting certain orders.

If your order is cancelled wholly or partially, or if extra information is required to process your order, we will notify you accordingly.

Customer-Initiated Cancellations

Customers may request cancellation only before the order is dispatched from our facility. Orders may be cancelled by contacting the Customer Support team via email at customerservice@pngadgil.com, or contact us on +1800 233 5005 & +91 9226532904.

Customer-initiated cancellations of Customised Jewellery, Bullions, Chips, Vedhani and Silver articles/frames will incur a 3% cancellation fee on the total order value.

Once the product is dispatched, cancellation requests will not be accepted, and the order will be governed by the applicable Return / Exchange / Buyback Policy.

Non-Cancellable Products (Exceptions)

Due to the nature of precious jewellery and bullion, the following categories cannot be cancelled under any circumstances once the order is placed:

  • Customised, engraved, or personalised jewellery
  • Products purchased under special offers, flash sales, or promotional campaigns (where specified)

For these products, customers may refer to the applicable Exchange or Buyback Policy, subject to eligibility and quality verification.

Any payment received for cancelled orders will be refunded as per the Refund Policy.

Notes

All cancellation decisions are final and binding.

Buyback Values

Buyback values of the following are calculated strictly on prevailing market/company rates, as displayed in store and policies at the time and place of buyback:

  • Diamond
  • Gold Jewellery
  • Plain Platinum Jewellery
  • Solitaire
  • Precious Stone (Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire)
  • Bullion (Gold/Silver)

Buyback value will exclude making charges, excise, GST, and other taxes.

Quality Check & Verification Process

All products submitted under the Buyback Policy must undergo:

  • Initial Quality Check at the store to confirm eligibility.
  • Buyback value determination based on the final assessment.

The final buyback amount is always subject to quality confirmation and purity/weight verification.

Mandatory Documentation

Customers must provide the following:

  • Original invoice copy
  • Original product certificates (e.g., diamond certification, authenticity card)
  • Original packaging, wherever applicable

Buyback cannot be processed in the absence of mandatory documents.

Notes

  • Customised jewellery (including personalised/engraved products) is eligible for buyback.
  • Buyback values are subject to change and are calculated strictly on prevailing market rates and policies at the time of buyback.
  • The store will perform a basic quality check after the product is received, and if eligible for buyback, you will be credited with the amount in cash up to a specified amount. The rest of the amount will be credited through cheque, RTS, or NEFT. It can also be credited to your PNG Jewellers account.
  • For buyback transactions exceeding ₹10,00,000, KYC documentation (PAN Card mandatory) will be required in compliance with applicable laws

P N Gadgil Jewellers Limited retains the right to calculate the buyback amount of the product based on the Quality Assurance Team’s final appraisal. P N Gadgil Jewellers Limited also retains the right to modify the terms and conditions for individual customers.

Shipping Policies

At P N Gadgil Jewellers, we ensure your order is shipped safely, securely, and hassle-free. All products are fully secured during transit by a reputable provider. Every order is carefully packaged in tamper-proof and durable packaging to reach your doorstep in perfect condition.

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive the tracking (AWB) number to monitor delivery progress. The courier partner is selected based on serviceability to the shipping address.

Shipping Estimates

Estimated shipping timelines:

  • RTS (Ready To Ship) products: 2 days
  • MTO (Made To Order) products: 21 days

Please note that these are indicative shipping timelines and not delivery timelines. Actual delivery timelines may vary depending on the delivery location and the courier partner’s schedule. 

Shipping Charges

Domestic (India): Shipping is free of cost across India except for COD orders.

Currently, shipping is only available across India. We do not ship internationally.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

Cash on Delivery orders will incur an additional prepaid, non-refundable charge of 5% of the total order value.

Cash on Delivery is not available in the following cases:

  • Orders with a value below ₹2,000
  • Orders with a value above ₹25,000
  • Bullion, Coins, Chips, Vedhani, and Silver/Gold Articles

Delivery to the Identified Recipient

For secure delivery, customers must provide the complete name (as per government-issued photo ID), full address, nearby landmark, pin code, and contact number.

At the time of delivery, the recipient must present one of the following original ID proofs:

  • Passport
  • PAN Card
  • Driver's License
  • Voter ID
  • Aadhaar Card

The courier agent will verify the ID and note the details for record purposes. Recipient cooperation is essential for successful verification and delivery.

Delivery Locations

Orders are delivered only to:

  • Residential or office addresses
  • Store Pick-up

Delivery to public places such as malls, hotels, restaurants, hostels, or streets is not available.

If the recipient is unavailable, the courier will attempt delivery up to three additional times. If still undelivered, the item will be returned to our facility.

Change of Shipping Address

Shipping details can be modified before dispatch. Once the product is shipped, no changes can be made.

Customers may also track their orders via the My Account section on our website/App.

Note: Successful delivery is subject to the courier partner's terms. Incorrect or incomplete recipient details may lead to non-delivery.

Shipment Discrepancies

Please do not accept tampered packages.

On receiving the parcel, inspect it carefully. Report any of the following within 7 days:

  • Damaged product or packaging
  • Missing items
  • Extra items
  • Suspected tampering

Damaged Products

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Do not discard the parcel or product.
  • Contact us within 7 days of receipt.
  • Our investigation team will assess and take appropriate action.

We cannot accept responsibility or process claims if damage is reported after 7 days.

Missing Products

Please inspect the package before accepting delivery. Report any missing items within 7 days by contacting our customer service. Investigations will be resolved within the next 7 working days.

Failure to report within the timeframe may result in the claim being void.

Non-Receipt of Order

Once shipped, customers receive a tracking ID via registered email. A delivery confirmation is also sent post-delivery.

If the parcel is not received despite the delivery notification:

We will investigate and resolve the matter within the next 7 working days. Delays in reporting may result in an inability to process refunds or complaints. Chargebacks raised without following due process will not be honoured.

Notes

If the order value is above ₹2,00,000 or multiple orders are placed on the same day, the customer will have to provide PAN Card details for order confirmation & dispatch.

In case of transit damage, the customer will be required to provide photos and a written statement of loss.

BIS Hallmarking

All our Gold & Diamond jewellery is BIS Hallmarked.

As per the guidelines issued by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the Government of India, BIS hallmarking is mandatory only for gold jewellery and artefacts intended for retail sale.

Gold bullion (coins/bars) and vedhani (raw gold forms) are currently exempt from mandatory BIS hallmarking regulations. Therefore, hallmarking is not a legal requirement for these categories.

However, please be assured that all our bullion and vedhani products undergo strict quality checks to ensure purity and authenticity as per industry standards.
